I am having a problem with Media Player. I have WMP 11.

I cannot open any video on AOL. Each time I try I get either error Cood11b1 or cood1198.

I have removed and reinstalled Windows Media Player. I have tried AOL Open Ride.
I have tried other browsers.

I am using Verizon FIOS and Windows XP.

Any Suggestions . This is frustrating.

If memory serves you need Real player for AOL instead of WMP. If that's still the case and you don't have it here's a free alternative version that won't drive you crazy with ads. http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/codecs_and_filters/real_alternative.cfm

I am having the same exact problem. Even down to the fact that we just upgraded to Verizon Fios about the same time we started having problems. I am getting the exact two error codes. I tried to make Real Player my default video player, but I still get the same error codes from windows media player. I was on the phone with AOL tech for three hours and with Dell tech for three hours with no help. I am currently at a loss.
