I'm trying to setup a home network consisting of an xbox 360 and a dell xps laptop with media center edition.. I use a wireless connection from my pc to the SpeedTouch router, and a wired connection from my xbox to the router..
The problem is, i get errormessages when i try to connect to my pc via the xbox saying: "pc selected - failed". This should mean that my pc isnt capable of streaming music and video..
In the "more info" screen, under "PC Selected", there is a list of several issues that may help. One of them is to "enable media sharing" in windows media player 11..
When i try to enable this, check the box "enable media sharing" and press "ok", it takes a while, the "ok" button greys out, then goes back on again, but nothing happens..
