I am looking to have work send me through a certification course, and test for a certification. Though it is old, back in 2000, I got my CNA. Along with that cert, I have a little Novell exp. I don't have any MS or Cisco exp, and would like a class in one of those areas. Which certification do you think would be more beneficial, in a job search, MCP or CCNA? Which generally demands more money? etc...

Thanks for the opinions.

Go with the CISCO Cert!

Microsoft certs are a dime a dozen these days because having one only requires passing a test, which I hear is not that hard to do...

Cisco Certs on the other hand require actual KNOWLEDGE to pass! Ya gotta know what you're doing to pass a Cisco test!

Thus, Cisco Cert would be a better choice for career advancement! But it's not cheap!

Once you take the Cisco classes, spend the extra cash & go to "Cisco Boot Camp"
