I have a Dell dimension 9150 which came with mce but i need to reistall the tv card driver but im not too sure what tv card it is, i think it is a hauppauge card but i cant find the drivers for it, can someone help, please.

If it is a Hauppauge card you can go here...

Over on the left side find and click to download ProdInfo, once downloaded click on the downloaded file and it should give you the info on the one you have...

Then go back to the link and download the driver and the TV app...

when i try and install i get the error HCWTVWND.DLL not found, and i thought i had found the drivers, they install but when i go to mce and go to tv it says no tv tuner found i dont understand wots wrong, if u can help that would be great.

Could my tv card be malfunctioning, i have not had this problem before, and i have only just noticed it in the last few days.

i do have the correct drivers but mce will not recognise that there is a tuner connected.

Dell often uses propritry versions of hardware . . you can probzbly find the right driver at their support site

I have been on there website and got the driver but this has not helped with the mce error.

when i try to access live tv in media centre i get this error

i dont know what this means but someone might.

Try this . . in Device Manager, uninstall the card . . shut down, open the case and remove the card. Reboot without the card, then shut down and replace the card . . Reboot and cancel when it wants to load the drivers, then run the Driver Install exe from Dell
