Sometimes when I try to save a Web page using Maxthon's (MyIE) .mht automatic save feature, I get a message saying that "The Web page could not be saved to the selected location."

Anyone know what gives? And more importantly, anyway to get around it?

It may be the site. A recent security update to IE prevents any pages from being saved if they load off-site css scripts. If it only happens on some sites, contact the site's webmaster about compliance with the web protocol.

Severall apps can save the page as an image, like SnagIt. You could try saving as html only if only the text interests you.

Did you try saving as MHT in Internet Explorer, instead of MyIE?
What OS/version?

Interesting! This morning the page saves perfectly in Maxthon. I didn't do anything different.

Maybe it was a server issue. Thanks for your help.
