Malwarebytes Auto run

I would gladly attach the report if I could see what's going on with my computer. We had to attach a second monitor due to damaged screen on my HP 2000 notebook. We got some kind of trojan or virus that swept through it while I was stupidly listening to someone who didn't know any more than I did. It locked up the screen. After we downloaded a program from Microsoft (I don't remember which one), the same devil was chasing around my Acer office computer. We contacted you and got Malwarebytes and it is absolutely amazing. My question: is there an auto run for this download or do I need to contact them? I think the malwarebytes might unlock the monitor.
