In Finale, a music notation program I use all the time, MB (trial) keeps giving me warnings about "Fraud" and makes it very difficult to "manage exclusions." Such as, I say fine, I'll enter the IP address, but you can't copy-paste it, and once I start typing the IP, it goes away. (See warnings below). I've never had this issue before, especially w/Finale. I think it may have to do with a couple of plug-ins I added awhile back, which are widely used and recommended by expert users for many years. Any ideas? I have generally liked MB, but not if it's going to be constantly annoying.

Malwarebytes trial as you will know, is their full malware program running in real-time.
When does the trial end? - it will then return to the free version that you have to access, to run a scan.

You say it may be the plug-ins installed - have you tried removing them, one at a time, and see if that helps?

Thanks for this. Yeah, the trial version is like 15 days, maybe? I'm not going to bother w/experimenting with the plug-ins; at this point it's not worth the time. I have tried that approach before w/other things, and it works for sure; I'll keep it in mind if necessary.

Malwarebytes trial running in real-time - may at first be oversensitive as it scans all programs, running processes, etc.
Always worth running a full scan of the pc to double check that no malware is present.

I ran a "full scan"(but it's pretty quick......just a few minutes....I would expect a full scan to take some time) and it showed nothing amiss.
