This pop-up keeps showing up constantly. I do not want to download Flash 5.0, but I am tired of having to answer NO 5 or 6 times a minute on some pages. Is there some way to prevent this from bugging me?
Thanks for the suggestion, but I have used both PopUp Stopper and now PopUp Killer, and neither one blocks the Macromedia attempt to push Flash 5.0 onto my machine. They both work well with other ads, though.
I guess this is not an ad, but an attempt to give something that Macromedia thinks is useful for viewing other ads.
I suppose if you want it to stop you have to download the thing, what a novel advertising concept.
Here you need this, no we insist, no we don't take no and just go away, just say yes and we'll let you live in peace.
You and me both fpat. I have the flash folder renamed flashback and have to click off those download prompts too. Some pages won't even load until they appear. Don't know which is worse, but the flash ads are not only annoying they cause display corruption on some sites with my ATI drivers at full acceleration.
