All,

I have a machine that goes through its ram count, looks at the hard drives and then restarts itself.

Anybody got any ideas?

Try loading fail-safe or optimised defaults in yout BIOS, if that doesn't work could be your PSU - if you can try another PSU and see if that solves it.

Without your machines details thats about as good as I can do

That doesent give you much chance to do anything . if you cant get into the setup . Try pulling out the battery for an hour and putting it back in . after that you might learn something by using another hard drive or ram chips either of witch can cause that . as Party Boy said the power supply might be the problem .
