m.2 ssd intel 600p not recognized in BIOS

Hello folks,

I installed my m.2 ssd intel 600p series with an adapter on my motherboard, the P8Z68-v PRO (which is pretty old). I've cloned my hard drive into my brand new ssd but I can't find the ssd in my BIOS. I've looked for solutions but found nothing.

Help!

1. Welcome to Tech Support Guy
2. You have provided no details of the OS, but more than likely the BIOS cannot see the Intel 600p because it does not recognise the device
3. See this

with particular reference to this
Supported operating systems: as boot device OS
  • Windows 7* (64-bit)
  • Windows 8.1* (64-bit)
  • Windows® 10 (64-bit)

Yeah my motherboard is too old, don't buy m.2 devices if your motherboard doesn't support it guys, even with an adapter you won't be able to boot from BIOS.
