Hey Y`all ! Got situation with SOUND . May have inadvertaly turned OFF sound functions. I was in DISK CLEANUP >more options> windows components cleanup>accesories+multimedia. Tried to install other components with 98se DISK(cd) to no avail. Result being i have no sound now . PLZ help or hints ! Dean P.S. Info -98se, IE6,Via sound card is working properly-i checked system devices. Thx

sounds like you may have taken some files rom the multimedia..Do you know the model of the card as well so we can try fresh drivers ?
