I'm looking for some USB extensions about two inches long and cannot find anything that short.

Perhaps if I explain what I'm doing, someone might have a better idea. I have a laptop that has no PCMCIA or built-in wireless. I plug in the mouse and network adapter, both wireless, and it all works fine except it would be easy for someone to bump one of those devices and break something. A two-inch extension would give it flex.

I've found a lot of six-inchers; but, I would like to have an even more compact solution.

coil up the 6 inch cable and put a twist-tie or cable-tie on it.

i've never seen anything as short as you want.

Yes. The difference between 2" and 6" is 4".

It's not the weight or the bulk as much as it is the dangle.

I found this at CyberGuys. It isn't as flexible as cable; but, if I don't find a two-inch cable, I might try it.
