We need a new email system at work. One where several people, up to say, 5, are accessing and using the same mail database via our LAN. We have one email address and all of our email comes into this one address (which is by design and works fine). We'd like a system that would pull the email from our ISP's POP server and filter it into various folders based on subject or sender, mostly. So far, pretty basic. Now the tricky part. Four or five people would then simultaneously be working on the emails that came in, replying to senders mainly, but perhaps forwarding some also. For example, emails that came into a "Customer Inquiry" folder may be handled by a couple of people (we get a lot of those). A "Billing Questions" folder might be accessed by those same people and/or other people. Etc., etc. Each person would also have their own folder so emails could be dragged there if they needed to handle them personally. Basically, we want to have a common place where email arrives so we can all work on it. It should show whether an email has been replied to so it is easy to tell which ones still need replies. We also need to be able to search all of the email, incoming and outgoing, to find messages to/from a particular sender, or regarding a particular subject. For example, from a specific person the search results would let us see all the email to and from them regarding their initial order, shipping correspondence, billing questions, etc. Is anyone familiar with a package that may do this?
