Hmm, hey guys, I'm looking for a new case to replace my current raggidy, ugly, overall horrible looking case.

Want to help me in this adventure of mines?

Here's what I would like:
-Black case
-Mid Tower
-Comes with 1 or 2 120mm fans
-Power supply is optional
-Something durable yet not soo heavy that I cant even pick up.

thanks

How about free except for shipping? I have two of these, they have pretty decent cooling, and you can't beat the price.

bought one of those with the clear side window, really not bad for a budget case.

Mine's a lot cheaper, and why buy a P/S that you're going to throw away? :)

:D oh you dont throw it away, it works well as a table leg, paper weight, conversation piece, if you get a few of them you can make a techie mobile, and of course theyre always good for PSU chucking, they have a good weight to them.

Well, for $0.0 plus shipping, I'd still take mine. I have two of them, and they're very decent cases, and look to be very similar to the one you are showing. :)

There must be an echo in here. :D

FWIW, you can take the cover off easily. I liked it for my wife, since my grandson comes up and presses the reset button for her, with predictable results. :D

ha, keep 'em coming guys.
That is a small budget... I am a stickler for QUALITY - because a cheap PSU can kill your computer than you have to spend money to replace it. Those in the industry do this ALL the time... Customer has go buy a $50~60 PSU to replace a bad one that came with a $50 case. cheap PSU WILL cause more system crashes and of course higher failure rates and typically louder.

A 500watt @ $35 uses funny math, but may have a max load of 275watts (Ive seen these)
A 380watt @ $60 (Antec, Enermax and other reputable makers) may max out at 320~350watts and be far more reliable.

A good case will last longer (strong materials), look better (usually), Cool better and quieter.

$50 - is that empty or with a PSU?

For low end, I recommend these case/PSU combos below from Newegg, besides the $60 Antec that win2kpro recommened (its black - with a door hinge which I hate)

Version without a door: $60 350watt PSU

I use these for LOW end, they look nice and quite - front USB & blue power lite
380watt PSU included: $70

Slighty bigger version of above - with 430 watt PSU: $99

For lighted fans, side window and spacetech setup:

Good luck

JohnWill - my recent ex had the same problem with her son, just turned 2. He LOVES pressing buttons ;)

I helped fix that.. I gave him an old PC from a client who upgraded a long time ago (It was a $2000 P3-1Ghz setup) - so he plays with that one.
