Wierd. Except for this one, all the problems I have read invlove the user to have to hit refresh in order for the page to load right. Ummm, the only suggestion I have for you are:
Do either or all:
1. Open IE, go to Tools -> Internet Options -> Connections -> Lan Settings and uncheck "Automatically detect settings".
2. Clear the cache (..was suggested from my friend)
3. I suggest a fresh install of Ie 6 and make sure you have all the updates
