i have 5 viruses : TROJ_REVOP.A, WORM_HAWAWI.F, BKDR_SUB7.22A, BKDR_SUB722.P, REG_STARTPAGE.A

they are infecting about 300 files and i don't have an updated virus check on my computer, but i used trendmicro online. i have tried deleting the files but there are so many, and some of them say that the files are in use, even when i load up in safe mode they are still being used.

also, some of them have loaded up my startup with a bunch of files that i can not figure out how to delete, they are like morze5.exe and n4tyoc05.exe. please help

Please do this. Click here to download Hijack This. Click on the Hijackthis.exe.

Click the "Scan" button when the scan is finished the scan button will become "Save Log" click that and save the log.

Go to where you saved the log and click on "Edit > Select All" then click on "Edit > Copy" then Paste the log back here in a reply.

DO NOT have Hijack This fix anything yet. Most of what it finds will be harmless or even required. Someone here will be glad to advise you on what to fix.

*Note: When you download Hijack This Do Not download it to a temp folder or to the desktop. Create a permanent folder somewhere like in My Documents and name it Hijack This and put it in that folder.

the virus will hide thier and re infect your computer

2nd on my site is etrust ez armor
its a free anti-virus and firewall program
2nd on my site are 2 online scans
or download nod32 and run the scan in safe mode.

C:_restore/temp is in System Restore. To get rid of that you will have to disable system restore.

Turn off System Restore:

Click Start, Settings, and then click Control Panel.
Double-click the System icon. The System Properties dialog box appears.

NOTE: If the System icon is not visible, click "View all Control Panel options" to display it.

Click the Performance tab, and then click File System.
Click the Troubleshooting tab, and then check Disable System Restore.
Click OK. Click Yes, when you are prompted to restart Windows.

Once you have cleaned the virus or other problem from the computer, reenable System Restore by following these directions

To enable Windows Me System Restore:

Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
Double-click System, and then click the Performance tab.
Click File System, and then click the Troubleshooting tab.
Uncheck Disable System Restore.
Click OK. Click Yes, when you are prompted to restart Windows.

Run Hijack This again and put a check by these. Close all windows except HijackThis and click "Fix checked"
