You didn't get an IP configuration from the Dhcp server. What operating system? Have you ever been able to connect to this particular router or wireless access point? What encryption is being used?

I've seen the following fix a few of these issues in the past:

Press the Windows key + R to open a Run box.

Type services.msc

Locate the DHCP Client and DNS Client services. Double-click them and make sure they're Started and their Startup Type is set to Automatic.

If they are Started and Automatic already, Stop and Restart them.

Reboot the computer.
