Liftmaster Garage Door Opener Problem

I have a 395max remote, I want to program it to my garage door opener. I click the program button on the inside and the lights turn solid. Once I click a button to start the program mode the light don't remain solid instead they turn off. I tried every thing like clicking the purple learn button on the garage door opener and hold, click, even spam the button on the remote. I also tried to resetting, the opener and remote. I also replaced the batteries no luck. Thank you for any help!!!

You might can try that first.

I did some searching for a 395 max remote and didn't see much online. Could it possibly be an 895max?

Yes, I'm very sorry it was 895max. Apparently, I got a faulty remote and they sent me a new one. Thank you for the help though :D
