Laptop won't turn on after cmos battery reset

Hi i have an inspiron 5559 or Dell, my laptop was working fine until i took the cmos battery out and replaced it again.
I had an issue with the the AC charger being unrecognized, i wanted to turn off the warning but i had an administrator password set, i don't know who set it. so i decided to reset the cmos to remove the password.
But now when i press the power button, it won't even turn on, the screen won't turn on and no keyboard lights, only the fans start running really fast and the battery indicator goes white and orange repeatedly. All i did was just taking the cmos battery out for a couple of minutes and replacing it, and this happened. Could this be a faulty bios or corrupted bios or a dead motherboard? How can i reset or reinstall the bios again, if possible? Help please i need an advice.☹

I will need the service tag to confirm the age of this machine. Also how is it flashing the colours? Is it 3 amber (orange) then 1 white? If so, then that would be an issue with the battery you took out. Maybe it's not in all the way. If it is, try replacing it. I think it's a common CR2032 that you can get from a local store.

My laptop is working fine right now, i took the cmos battery and wait 10 more hours and place it back again, and it started to turn on again, but this did not remove the admin password, i will have to change the main battery and the adapter. My laptop is inspiron 5559. Thank you for your reply.
If anything I think you only need a new AC adapter. If that doesn't help then the power connector would be the next piece, then the battery.

yes my battery is also expired.

Ahh, well then try the battery first, then the AC. :) the battery can cause some weirdness and may be causing your AC adapter to be reporting as not recognized.

Yes but when i move the ac adapter wire the battery indicator turns white, i think it's the problem too.
OK, so it sounds like you are good to go. At worse, you may need to change the power connector on the board as well. Hopefully its not soldered
