Hello I'm need a laptop that is 14" or under and is priced under $600. I've looked around and there's a lot types I see, most with low powered cpus(any under $600 that are a bit more powerful? I want to keep it for a long time). Gets a bit confusing when there's so many to look at. What is a good laptop at this price point? Thanks,

What are you intended uses of the laptop? A general Browsing Email office suite type computer? or something more powerful for gaming and such?

Just something for internet browsing, youtube etc, but I want something with a bit of power. I don't play games, but sometimes do some task intensive stuff.

There are refurbished deals that carry the same MFG Warranty as a new laptop, Often times Refurbs are systems that have not been used, but because the box was opened and unpacked then returned have to be tested and certified again must be sold as refurbished. At a sometimes greatly reduced price.

I got a refub because I didn't want Windows 8.
I prefer HP, If you want W7.. look Here
