Laptop Keyboard some keys are not working

I have Lenovo Legion Y520 and some Keyboard Keys stopped working (Fn, H, G) I tried to update the drivers but nothing fixed this problem. Also, I didn't use my Laptop's keyboard so I guess that I did not cause this problem.

Hello and welcome to TSG!!

It sounds like the keyboard is defective. Have you tried an external keyboard? I expect it would work fine. The way most keyboards are designed, using a matrix assembly, this type of failure is not uncommon, multiple keys ceasing to function. Looking at a YouTube video for replacing the keyboard in this model laptop, it would appear that it is much better to replace the entire top assembly. The keyboard is attached in such a way that replacement is difficult, at best. They keyboard is secured to the top ass'y with "plastic rivets", bits of plastic that stick through the keyboard mounting holes and are melted over to form a rivet-shaped cap, holding the k/b in place.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by this, though:

I'm using an external keyboard all the time and I've never touched the Laptop's keyboard that's why I meant
Well, it still sounds as if the keyboard is defective now. If you've never used it, it may have always been bad.

So should I contact Lenovo Support ?
Is it under warranty? If so, yes!
