I was at the local dump with some rubbish and seen a laptop lying there so i asked of o could have it and was told to help myself.
When i got home i found it was a Fujitsu Siemens Amilo (specon back is Amilo-D, Reg No. 30N3 Modelname. CY 23).
I plugged in my own mains adapter as the re wasn't on with it, powered it up and it seems to be running fine, so i decided to format hdd and reinstall xp home but when you enter the bios it switches off any ideas why this is. I have managed to format and install and runs away quite happily. but every time you try to go into bios it switches off.
Went onto Fujitsu Siemens site to see if there was bios update but when i enter the identification number it shows up as AMILO-D UK C1100 14.1��TFT and i cant find anything else about it.
Any ideas?
