Hi everyone

I am the proud owner of an HP compaq nx9005 laptop, bought in August 03.

When new, the battery lasted for about 3 hours - when fully charged it now has a life of 30 minutes. I've tested the battery with the battery optimizer and it says that it's perfect.

At the moment it takes longer to charge it than it actually lasts in use. Anyone got any ideas on how to restore it to last 3 hours again.

I think batteries are covered under warranty service agreement.

batts do not last forever, however there is a utility to re-calibrate, which i have NOT used myself - but have heard works

I'll look into the warranty. But surely batteries should last more than 8 months!!

Does anyone know if re-calibrating works?

Acrobat encountered an error and had too close. I sent an error report to MS. I''l try it again later.
