I have recently purchased a Time laptop "TIME TRAVELLER A760 WIN"
as they call it.
I have however a problem that it will no longer boot up it just turns on and displays "RS482M- TEST BIOS BR#13207A"
I'm not sure if this is somehow related to temperature as it had been on for a while.
Even so the pc had been turned off for quite a long time and does not get any further on startup.
Any ideas please?

well, your BIOS could be off haha, it says to "TEST BIOS" so if im recalling correctly, you need to reboot your computer and repeatedly tap f10? im pretty sure its f10 that takes you to bios. snoop around in there! see if you find anything out of the ordinary AND OR reset your bios to default

I have sent it back to Time as it still under warranty.
I spoke to a technical support guy on the phone, he told me it was F2.
I was not getting any further than the 1st message and had no choice
but thanks for your help.;)

Eh, I've heard the whole "needs a motherboard" excuse plenty of times. Friends come to me asking to take a look at it because of this and sometimes its as simple as removing a stick of ram. Definitely give it some more work before you go spending the big bucks, sometimes it can pay off.
