Have had to use a wireless Labtech mouse and keyboard. The pointer is jumping about and I would like to know how to stop it. Have tried updating drivers but am told the ones I have are ok. Think Labtech are now out of business so need your help.

Check under Mouse in control panel...see if there is a 'smart move' or similar. This would cause the mouse to jump to the highlighted button of a new window......

You also should check for other devices that may be interfering with the RF signal. We had a case here where someone was getting random keystrokes on their screen, turned out to be two wireless keyboards in close proximity! :D

I think I have found the answer, inside the instruction booklet it says to avoid metal.
My desk is composed entirely of metal. Maybe that's the reason it's jumping about.
Am going back to wired until I get a wooden desk.
Do not have smart move and there is no other wireless devices near.
Thanks for your help, it's appreciated.:)
