Hi and Welcome to TSG!

Many people have concerns about this, but it is hard for your access key to be cracked, although If you want to check there should be a menu called wireless settings, and in there should be a wireless access list, where you can grant access to MAC addresses commonly called mac filtering I believe.

There is also a link called attached devices, which should list all the devices connected, including name, MAC address, Internal IP, and operating System.

Kind Regards
Hope this helps

Basically, no, you can't really determine if someone used your connection in the past. You can see if someone is using it now by looking at the IP address table in your router's configuration software. If you see that there are more IPs in use than you have devices connected in your home, then someone may very well be on it.

As for MAC filtering, don't bother. It doesn't offer any real additional security. Use the highest level of encryption that your network equipment supports. You could also change the encryption key regularly.
