Hi i have a windows Xp Dell Dimension pc and i am trying to play USAF (Janes's combat simulator) and the game plays fine but i would love to use this awsome joystick i have. Its a Saitek Cyborg 3D Gold USB and everything works fine on it except for the buttons, the saitek config shows that when i press one button lets say the trigger it puts it down as me pressing 4 or 5 buttons and my control panel config shows it pressing four different buttons than the other, now i think as myself being quite savy about computers so i messed around with the config of the buttons but to all my efforts it cant seem to accept the changes. Please help

Do you have the latest software for the joystick from Saitek? A lot of controllers require their own unique config software.

yes i just tonight fully installed the data and patched it to the fullest it recognizes the joystick, also i tried both the front and back usb ports

i made a profile for the joystick to my game with controls that should work but i do not know how to make the game recognize the profile, any ideas?

no even with the profile working the joystick actually recognizes that when i press one button that im pressing 4 i dont know what to do i am deffinently confused and mad

u did program the joysttick buttons for your normal buttons right. i.e steer right=u lean joystick right??? and you did configure the joystick as in through the software you got for the joystick. A program should pop up asking you to elan the jouystick all the way to the right and left, calibrating it... Dont forget to do all that good stuff
