whenever i try to play a game that requires java, an error message comes up. it is,
java.lang.unsatisfiedlinkerror:no msawt in shared Library path Error creating console . please help or try to find out whats wrong. thanks

What version of this file do you have - it should be in your windows\system

msawt.dll

this is my version 5.00.3805

version language is english - united states

java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError -

Thrown if the Java Virtual Machine cannot find an appropriate native-language definition of a method declared native.

You certainly have all of the info that he needs to take care of the problem that he posted about.

I'd feel pretty good if I had posted and received a thorough reply as this one that you've posted and pretty quick too.

I wonder what happened to stormfoxfire? ... sometimes I see threads like this and I wonder what happened to the person that posted "please help or try to find out whats wrong. thanks"

Oh well at least you got a "thanks" even if he doesn't come back to reply. that little "thanks" is more than some ... and it does help.
