I have made previous posting on this matter and after following the directions given to me it seemed the adware was removed. For some reason when I started my internet browser today it directed me to www. files .com once again. Any help would be great. Thank you.

Thanks for the quick reply. As for spybot it did pick up a few things but did not get rid of the problem. AV7 for some reason does not want to start up. I get some sort of installation failed: Invalid command line argument message. The online scan also picked up something but again my main page still gets directed to Either way thanks for the help I guess I'll have to deal with this stupid ware. On a final note when I run adware I come up with this object only:

Object Type:RegData
Size:6 Bytes
Location:exefile\shell\open\command "" (%1 %*)
Last Activity:1-12-2005
Risk Level:Low
TAC index:3
Comment:possible virus infection, executable file extension compromised
Description:General Windows Security Issue. Your system security may be compromised. The specifics of the possible compromised item are listed in the comments section.

Thanks again!
