iTunes is a digital jukebox for Mac OS X and Microsoft Windows operating systems iTunes versions prior to 4.7.1 are vulnerable to a buffer overflow. By creating a specially-crafted m3u or pls playlist file, a remote attacker could oveflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system or cause iTunes to crash, once the file is processed.
