itunes is transparent!

3196 Views 4 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  soleil74
My itunes background has gone completely transparent, and also my internet explorer background flashes while I use it.

I've worked out that this is because my directx isn't working properly, and it says my ddraw.dll file is missing. I've tried reinstalling directx 3 times, but it still isn't working.

I read in another thread that I need to post my dxdiag report, so here it is. I've only copied the first bit tho because it's quite long, but if the rest would be helpful as well let me know!

(if I've posted this on the wrong page, please let me know where I should post it)
any suggestions? i'm willing to try anything..
I am and I had the same problem. Open Comodo Antivirus. Go to Advanced>Computer Security Policy and check if ITunes is set as an Isolated Application. If so edit it and change it to Trusted or Windows System Application and try again. Worked for me just a few minutes ago after I saw this on another forum.
No, I have Panda Antivirus. And it's not just itunes I'm having problems with. It's also Internet explorer.
