I'm pretty new with this video burning stuff so bear with my lack of knowledge please.

If I have an .iso file (an image file?) and I want to burn it to a dvd disc or cd disc....how do i go about this?

The only burning software that came with the puter is mysonicdvd...and i don't seem to be able to add an .iso file to be burned. I think the program may need an upgrade or something.

Do I need to find a better burning program...or is there another solution?

I use NERO 7.5 Ultra to burn ISO images.

Alcohol 120% or Nero will burn ISOs to a DVD quite nicely.

I have version 7
On the left click copy. Then click burn image.

The best software for this is ImgBurn (free). It will handle any image type files, both CD and DVD. It will also identify the true maker of your blanks and help you find firmware updates for your burner.

I think your Sonic may be about the same as mine ...
In Sonic .. see COPY .. Burn Image to Disc .... or something similar ...

I've been able to do this with several versions of Sonic.
