I am trying to install a Canon multilpass C3500 it has been installed on another computer. When I attempted to install it on this one I got this message:
"Isinst 30 has cause an error in _inso433._mp. If this continues try restarting computer."

I tried restarting did not work.
Tried reinstalling Windows ME did not work.

Any suggestions?

On the other computer that it was installed on what operating system was that one?
Did you try to install the drivers first then run the setup?.

It was windows 98. But there was a third computer involved since I had this printer fax that was also windows 98 that it wouldn't install on.

It does a driver setup at the start of the setup procedure and I tried installing a different driver when it aborted setup.

The error message is somewhat different than the one described here:

But if you have "mswheel.exe" follow those instructions. If not, it may simply suggest a conflict with some other running programs.

To test run msconfig and TEMPORARILY remove the check for "load startup" items on the general page. Reboot and try the installation. Afterwards, recheck the startup group and reboot again. If errors result with the newly installed program after a successful installation you will have to use msconfig to isolate the conflicting program in msconfig's startup tab.
