Is there a trick to this....?

A long time ago, I was able to open a folder of pictures, and see thumbnails of the actual pictures instead of thumbnails of the image editor logo (I have several) or whatever. Is there a trick to being able to find the picture you're looking for without having to click on each one for a preview? In the folder options, I have it set to thumbnail and preview, since I can't see the pix otherwise. Isn't the whole idea of "thumbnail" supposed to be to enable you to see the picture before you open it? I hope I'm explaining this right--does my query make sense to anybody?

Actually, the photos saved as *.mix actually show up in the thumbnails, but all the ones saved as *.jpg don't.

I have Windows ME.

Thanks for any help at all!

I'm not sure if ME has the capability to show all the pics/thumbnails in a folder, you might need a third-party software for that, although I could be wrong?

try this program:

http://www.picasa.com/

and see if this helps you..

Hope this helps!
