to help better understand what Windows Event Codes mean? I saw one a while back where people commented via a thread about what the code displayed, and possibly what they did to fix the problem, but I can't find the site anymore.
I was getting a Disk Image of a Windows 2000 server yesterday, and sending the disk image file to my C: drive via a mapped drive, and when I came in this morning, I had this pop up on the screen. This is the message in the event viewer on my machine as well.
Symantec Live State Recovery on the server said that the image backup was successful. Now I'm not sure if I truely got a good image or not.
Event Code: 26
Application popup: mmc.exe - Corrupt File : The file or directory C: is corrupt and unreadable. Please run the Chkdsk utility.
