firstly... No.

are you getting paid for all of those banners?

if you really want to make use of ur site, create a few subpages, where u can group together related sites, and add some info about them, dont just post heaps of banners (apart from the long loading time) it just looks messy and people dont know what to look at...

i like ur slogan " The Virtual Mall that has it all! "
but this is ur only selling point... umm id even question if this is spam... but anyhow they are my thoughts, hope that helps.

Better work on my hosts file because it only blocked out 20 of the ads from http://click.linksynergy.com

But anyhow you got to many ads on one page and you should group them into other pages by types of products.

First off, I would organize them into tables, like 2 collums, in the first, have the banner picture, and in the second, have a short text description of the site. Then I would have target linking at the top of the page for different groups, in side by side text links, or a drop down menu. Also, at the top of your page, the GIF letters aren't doing you much except uselessly eating bandwidth, the "T" didn't even load when I went to the page, I'd make a nice flowing graphic at the top of the page to represent your site.

Just my input :p

Thanks for all the great feedback. I kind of suspected a lot of these problems, which is why I wanted the input. I see I have a lot of work to do to make it better.

Thanks guys.

Okay, so I got the idea my site needed help, and I've completely retooled it. I'd appreciate it if people were willing to take another look and see if it seems any better. www.shopbigtop.com

Question though; what's so bad about Geocities, besides the obligatory ads?

Much better now! interms of nevigation you have got a good setup with having grouped items on serparate pages - it would be good if u included a "back" button for easily getting back to ur index page without using the browsers inbilt history backtrack back button - a simple link with the word Back would do fine.

I personally would like to see a few comments regarding each site - just to help give the viewer a better idea of each store - some of the banners arent too specific and so aditional words by you would help.

on the index page poissibly use some more fancier text for the page links - it just looks a little too bland against a white background and having all those colourful images - just becareful not to over colour with the text - just a different larger font maybe.

i dont mean to be too critical of ur site as i too have a site which i forever try to better . i hope my comments help and challenege you to create something really awsome! good work

In my openion, marquees never bring up the value of a page. Makes it look like something done in a wysiwyg, and sinks it to a lower level of unprofecinalism (busting out the fake, misspelled words :p) just do what ever you feel comfortable with. Shesh, look what happenes to my post when spellcheck dies with server 1 :(

Well, I took all the advice and took my page away from geocities. The ads should disappear. As for a marquee, I don't know what one is, so it would be hard for me to add one... The "offers" page was a mistake, I tink. It should be gone. I've tested all the links and they seem to work.

Thanks again for all the great advice, everyone. It makes web designing a lot more fun and educational. And thanks Tech Support Guy Website.
