I have a sun monitor and the adapter for it but I get no signal do I need a special vid card for it.

I heard that not seeing the bios depends on the quality of card you use.

I enjoy a small challenge when it comes to computers I learn better that way. But it is time to start saving up for the vid card I guess. The way I see it is fixed frequency vs. composite is just a matter of preferance. Other wise fixed frequency would no longer be made.
