I'm using an external keyboard for my ipad air 2 and everytime i press the shift key once, all the letters thereafter are typed in upper case. When i press and hold on to the shift key , the letters are typed in lower case. It seems to me that it is working in reverse.
I have already already checked that the sticky keys function is off so i'm not sure what is the issue here.( I sure do hope, it's not a hardware issue) It started just a few days ago after i probably pressed something for too long, i'm not sure really. Hoping somebody here could help me out.
(Pressing both shift keys for some time fixes the issue until the shift key is pressed again.)
I did not have this issue when trying another bluetooth keyboard hence i think its an issue with the settings on the keyboard itself.(I'm assuming you're referring to the ipad when you said reset)
Yes, sorry, I meant the 'hard reset' on the iPad to ensure its not a glitch with it. So if you are able to use a different keyboard then it does sound like this original keyboard is the cause but with no brand/markings, its hard to check for solutions.
