Hello all helpful ones!
I have a computer that keeps telling me i have an invalid system disk error, and keeps on asking me to replace the disk and then press any key. How do I avoid that, to get to Windows. If I cant, can I put an OS disc in and install a fresh Windows on the PC? Thank you for your help, I will be on if you need any further info. Thank you, Ben

Is there a disk in the floppy drive or cdrom?

No! I just installed windows xp on it now, and I guess that will help it. How do i avoid that problem in the future?

Perhaps the cmos battery needs replaced, if the bios is forgetting it has a hard drive to boot to........
