[Dob Dob]

I am experiencing a problem where thumbnails on websites (so far only GIFS) do not display on my browser. Instead i get the white box with the red cross.

Any thoughts how to fix it?

System:
Windows XP (Service Pack 2)
IE version 6.0.2900
Norton internet Security/anti virus 2004

If you right click on the red X picture does it give the option for Show Picture? and if you select that option does the picture appear?

If so go to tools - internet options - advanced - multimedia and check off show pictures.

Yeah i right clicked and chose "Show Pictures" but they dont appear. The Media Tab bit is ticked anyway.

One at a time, temporarily, disable Antivirus Software, Firewall and Pop Up Blockers. Check to see if one of those is preventing the small pictures.
