Hi,

I have two computers which are connected to the internet through a hub. On the first computer the internet is working. However on the second computer the msn messenger is working but I can't load any sites on the internet explorer.

It all started when I installed a Norton antivirus patch on the first computer. After I installed the patch the internet didn't work at all on the second computer. After a couple of days I disconnected the second computer's cable from the hub and then reconnected it on another port in the hub. When I did this the msn messenger started working. But I still can't load any thing to the internet explorer.

If any body has any suggestions I'll be glad to hear.

Thank you,

Shaul

This is tricky but if MSN is hitting the net then it is usually a simple setting in your IE properties to get the internet working.
Ethernet card may need the IP address changed off to a different IP or do automatically detect.
these are really easy issues to work on, but for fun turn off the first PC then see if the second can hit the net through IE.
You have to have the work groups the same most times in order for them to work together.
Ex. mshome is a well used workgroup
Hope this helps
Peter
