This began happening yesterday after my niece was on the computer, but I don't think that she did anything to it besides check her email.

Everything is working fine, but whenever you close out IE, an error comes up that says "Internet explorer has incountered a problem and needs to close...Send error report, etc." It freezes the computer for about five seconds after I click something, and then it goes away and everything is okay. Whenever I have more than one window open and close out one of them and the message pops up, I click "Don't Send Error Report" and all of the windows close. It's very annoying. Does anyone know the problem?

Nothing has been changed on my computer. I did the Restore program and set my computer's settings back for a week and I still get the error. I checked for Spyware and everything is clear.

I will be appreciative for any help!

you do not say which ie u are using however i have solved numerous problems with ie 6 and 7 and have found the easiest way overall to download the file from microsoft site save to hard disc,uninstall ie re boot and install with your saved programme,i only do this after installing firefox as a back up so can be on line when reinstalling ie so it can update iteslf as it will do so,double check for bugs with your anti spy ware,also sometimes going to tools and resetting all defaults works,why who knows? you could aslo try disableing all add ons,via tools.

I kept seeing that message until i uninstalled Mcaffee site advisor. Haven't seen it since.

You might consider switching to FireFox. It's a much better browser and much more stable.
