Installation error

I'm using Ghost and I copied windows95 partition to partition from an older IBM Aptiva 266mhz, to a new HP 1.5ghz. when I start up I'm getting the error

While initializing device NTKERN:
Windows Protection Error. You need to restart your computer

Anyone know how to get around this?

Windows95? Ntkern is the USB loader. Limited support for USB in95 was provided by the USB Supplement. Are you able to get into SAfe Mode? If so, go to Add REmove Programs and remove the USB Supplement.

Otherwise that message in Win98 and above indicates possible bad RAM.

Yes windows 95

When I try to go into safe mode I get this error

While initializing device IOS:
Windows Protection Error. You need to restart your computer.

The Computer is Brand new and was working fine with XP on it, so I don't think it's RAM.

Any other thoughts????
