Okay I have a hard drive that is clean. I am trying to put win98 in the pc. When I boot up with the 98 startup disk it tells me invalid disk reinsert disk and hit any key. So I made fresh boot disk thinking it was no good did it again same thing. I tryed just installing win98 with out the boot disk thats a no go to. My computer is booting off the floppy I made sure of that. Can anybody help??

All I can think of is the really obvious:

Is your floppy setup correctly in the BIOS?

Did you try creating a boot disk from a few different floppies?

Can you boot from your CDROM drive?

What is your exact boot sequence in the BIOS?
