Importing bmps and jpegs with xp
Hi,Newbie to this forum-would much appreciate any advice- I have 2 computers one a basic thing running windows 98se,the other a state of the art[ish] with expensive graphics card,athlon 1800 etc etc-
I am at a loss as I use ms "Publisher" on both but the expensive one won't properly import art or bitmaps into my documents,it will only import jpegs whereas my win 98 computer will import all these formats without a problem-when I save a picture as a bitmap or art all I get is an empty box with a standard windows picture on it in "my documents" that won't be opened by any of the progs I have,further I get a message saying the saved image is not a valid bitmap image??
