I recently upgraded my office suite from 2010 to 2013.
However, I'm not able to find all my stuff of outlook-2010 within new outlook-2013.
How to recover?

what operating system are you using?
Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit
OK, realistically you should have exported your personal file folder and saved it somewhere before doing the upgrade. so now you can try to import the original pst file; no guarantees.
In Windows 7 the pst files are located in this directory:
C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook and it is usually called: outlook.pst, however you may see two different one (ignore backup.pst for now)
Be advised that the AppData folder is hidden by default so you may have to unhide it first.
Fire up Outlook 2013 and try to import your original pst file, it would be the largest one there:

OMG! The folder "C:\Users\NirajP\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook" doesn't contain any .pst file.
It contains one .ost file, which is having the file size of 968 mb.
As I learnt from your reply that .pst file contains all mails, attachments, and other data in Outlook-2010, what type of data this .ost file contains? Isn't it similar one?
I'd tried to import this .ost file, as procedure mentioned in URL given by you, but it doesn't work; since it is a .ost file, not a .pst file.
What to do now?
Dude! I think u lost me totally. I'm not having any .pst file. Just having 968mb .ost file.
Now, how to recover all old outlook 2010 data in outlook 2013?

One more thing, CleaverX!
I'd taken the back up of "files in libraries and personal folders for all user" through "Backup and Restore" utility of Windows7 control panel. Do you think, it will help me out?
If yes, how to extract outlook .pst file only, from this backup?
It is stored on an external hard disk.
OST files are created when you use a Microsoft Exchange account. What is the email account you had Outlook configured with?

Also, Outlook 2010 and newer create the PST files in the My Documents folder in a folder called "Outlook Files". Older versions of Outlook used the Appdata or Application Data folders.

Also what was your install procedure? Did you install 2013 with 2010 still installed? So did you do an upgrade or did you uninstall 2010 first?

Hotmail is the email account I had Outlook configured with 2010 & now with 2013.

At present, there is no PST files in the My Documents folder in a folder called "Outlook Files" or even Appdata or Application Data folders.

I did an upgrade from office 2010 pro to office 2013 pro.

That site I posted was how to IMPORT an .OST file into the current Outlook on your machine - which is what you asked.
If you meant to ask how to import an old Outlook's files into a new one, just use the File menu and sub options to point the logical file to the old outlook file.

You may need to open and close the new outlook once first to create an new empty outlook.pst (hint rename the old one first)
If it's Hotmail then your stuff is stored in the cloud/web. Just setup the same email account in Outlook and it should just pull all the info back down.

Yes, you are right! That option is with me. However, I'd regularly deleted many stuff on Hotmail web account. As it was remained intact on my outlook 2010 (which upgraded now to outlook 2013) on my notebook. That's why I'm curious to recover old .pst file.

Dude! I'm greeting u whole heartily!
I'd started this thread just b'se, I would not able to locate the .pst file after upgrading to outlook 2013; as I'd not taken any backup of outlook 2010 data, unknowingly.
So, there is no question of importing old .pst file in new outlook 2013, as u mentioned in reply

Not sure how you did that as normally any and all changes or deletions occur to both the local Outlook 2010/2013 copy and the online copy since you would be viewing the same thing. Unless you set it up as a POP account but in that case you would have had a .PST file.
