Hello hello everyone. I really hope you can help me here because this problem is driving me insane. When I play games like Paladins and Overwatch, I skip around once every like minute or two. Also, I feel like my display looks slightly off when I play games too. I don't notice it in something like this thread post, but in games or watching videos, some objects look slightly grainy. Its extremely prevalent in Deep Rock Galactic. System info is attached. If anyone needs any information from me, please let me know and/or email me. Thank you so much for any help you guys can give!

Hi and welcome to TSG.

Is this something that has started recently or has it always been like this?
Roughly how old is the PC and is it a prebuilt system or custom?

Nothing immediately jumps out from the DXDiag and it should run those games pretty easily.

Can you download and install HWMonitor, run the program and then go into a game for a little while. When done screenshot the Motherboard section and post here.

Thank you for getting back to me Shane. This is something that has started recently. I hadn't played the PC for the entirety of 2020 because I was in training for the military. But I just got it back again and booted it up and this is the problem I'm experiencing. This is a custom system, I would say its about 4 years old, but I've been upgrading parts in it periodically. The components I haven't upgraded yet are the processer and motherboard. Also, don't really see a motherboard section, but what I do notice is that all the cores of my processer are running at max temperature when I'm playing.

Thanks.

Not sure if the CPU temps are a bad reading or not, if they aren't then there is a cause for concern there as your CPU seems to be getting very hot. If you can see it I would check that the CPU fan is running OK.

Could you also screenshot the top part of the HWMonitor window as that is where the main Motherboard info is, you have scrolled down a bit in that shot.
I think my CPU is overheating like crazy. I haven't replaced the thermal paste since I got it like 4 years ago. And who knows how long it was since the person I received it from replaced. Here's that top screen shot though.

Probably something worth looking into.
Is the inside of the case generally clean and well cable managed?
Are all the fans actually working, best way to check is to take the side off and check visually.

The voltages I was looking for at the top are so far out that I would suspect it isnt reading the sensors correctly, this does happen.

If you compare it to mine this is what I was looking for, the +3, +5 and +12v rails can be good for indicating PSU issues.
