IE6 status bar (or lack thereof)

Since I upgraded to XP Pro, the status bar at the bottom of the browser window has disappeared. I found it useful because it showed where links pointed to and such, and it's frustrating not having it.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

In IE, choose View>Status Bar.
