IE problem with hyperlinks from Outlook 2010

I am currently experiencing an issue with hyperlinks in emails from outlook 2010. I believe the issue is with IE since the problem does not occur when I use Chrome Browser as my default. When I click a hyperlink in an Email outlook or IE adds a "/f" to the end of the URL. It only happens from Outlook -- Does not occur from MS Word and also only happens with IE. When I set Chrome as default browser it worked fine. Could someone please explain and assist. Thanks. Tim
