Hey, lately my Internet explorer has been acting up. I keep on getting an error message:

EXPLORER caused an invalid page fault in
module KERNEL32.DLL at 0167:bff9dfff.

But when I close the error box nothing happens and I can go on working but the message box will come up again. I don't know what this means and I tried repairing IE but nothing's changed.
Just to mention, I've run ad-aware, AVG and my start-up list is clean.
The rest of the error message is:

Hope someone can help.

I tried that password thing yesterday but no dice, still happens.
All of a sudden on re-boot I've been getting the password prompt thing and I don't know why that's started either but I'd love to get rid of that too.
Sheesh. How did Bill ever get so rich?

he bought Q-dos from one of his friends , worked out a few bugs, renamed it ms-dos,and sold it to ibm, with a few conditions , such as he could sell it to other computer manufacterers, too.

maybe you can go to the password section of control panel & where it says make new password, it will say "old windows password" & " new windows password". just leave both blank & push apply.( see what happens).

sorry , i could not help much(if at all).
i'll read up on it some more when i get time, maybe i'll find something or someone else will know what to do.

did you try the video fix? i would not think that it would matter , but you never kno, at least you find out if it fixes it or doesn't.

good luck.
